We're Insured Tree Surgeons

Insurance is a very important part of what tree surgeons do. Having public liability for tree surgery is a must when working at people’s homes, commercial properties and with local county councils covering the public, our employees and sub contractors.

This will involve our expert team arriving with the equipment and experience required to remove the tree/s in a safe and timely fashion. All arisings will be chipped on site and brought to our yard where it is then composted. The timber can be removed or we can process it on site for firewood or mill it for use as furniture, construction or what ever the client may require.

Tree removal is not a service we like to emphasize, but it is a very necessary part of arboriculture and one that Tree to Tree executes professionally and safely. Our goal is and always to provide services that keep trees healthy, but there are instances when removal is the best alternative for the landscape and homeowner.

Tree removals are performed to eliminate dead and dying trees as well as those that have become hazardous. Removals can also be useful in eliminating competition for light and space so that the remaining plants are better able to grow and thrive. In some cases, trees may also be removed to allow for new construction, home additions and to provide clearances with those structures.

Tree removal is the most hazardous aspect of arboriculture. Often, tree workers must remove trees growing in confined spaces near houses, utility lines and other sensitive areas. Tree removal requires considerable expertise to successfully perform this task.

Insurance

Insurance is a very important part of what we do....having public liability is a must when working at people’s homes, commercial properties and with local county councils. Not only do we carry an extensive insurance package covering the public, our employees and sub contractors we also have the certificates of competence to carry out all aspects of tree work. This is VERY important as without these our insurance is null and void!!
Rogue operators may well show you a piece of paper showing they are insured but unless they are certified to do the work it isn’t worth the paper it’s written on....

Being complicit comes at a cost but we like to ensure our customers that they have nothing to worry about so please do not hesitate to ask us for our paperwork as we are always willing to share and explain regarding this particular matter.
